The Company

Athena’s born 1969 in Pianoro, on the hills around Bologna.

It has consolidated its “Green Company” reputation through its own R & D Laboratory able to develop and follow the entire production process: from the formulation to the production of truly effective and high quality products. A skilled staff, specialized in “green” cosmetics and able to guarantee innovative cosmetic solutions, respectful of environmental resources and the social environment.

The company benefits from the collaboration of the Department of Cosmetology at the University of Ferrara to perform studies for product evaluation and efficacy, skin and eye tolerability and microbiological control.

“L’Erboristica di Athena’s dal 1969” and “Aloebio50” lines are formulated to reduce to the minimum the risk of allergies.

PLANT BASED
“Plant Based” certification, issued by Bioagricert (www.bioagricert.org), attests that our products are mainly based on plant ingredients and on other natural substances, excluding any ingredient of animal origin.

IMPATTO ZERO®

L’Erboristica di Athena’s supports Impatto Zero® events where the CO2 emissions, generated by the packaging, are compensated with the purchase of carbon credits derived from forest establishments and maintenances projects.

ECO FRIENDLY

We exclusively use bottles, boxes and packaging in recycled and/or recyclable materials and ingredients biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

INCLUSION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Athena’s collaborates with disabled members of the OPIMM centre (www.opimm.it) for the packaging of products of the “Purysens” line, to promote their social inclusion.

VEGAN OK

Athena’s, in accordance with European regulations, is opposed to animal testing. Through the ethical entity Vegan OK, certifies this product because it does not contain raw materials of animal origin or obtained through the exploitation of animals.
